We have great learning opportunities available at this practice as well as the varied caseload and the support to assist you transition from veterinary student to veterinary professional

For an experienced veterinarian we have a position available - tell us about your skills and experience and we would be delighted to discuss the position, the potential and the rewards.

Our case mix is approximately 40% small animal; 40% equine and 20% livestock

Attitude, aptitude, personality and presentation are vital qualities.

• Extremely flexible working environment.
• Minimal on-call after-hours work (1 in 4 weekends with mentored support) – remember it is the nature of the job - animals do get injured or unwell 24/7! We do have minimal afterhours.
• Salary package is extremely attractive - a very generous salary commensurate with your skills and experience as well as your performance; AVA membership: EPA licence: health insurance etc
• Practice vehicle supplied
• Our client base is extensive and we are selective!

If you wish to only do small animal practice then we have a position for you.

• We have a huge array of state-of-the-art equipment and our small animal hospital is newly renovated.

• Open client communication and best-practice approach to patient care are fundamental
• We have regular visits from specialists and consultants.

Pet Medical Centre - small animal (dogs and cats ONLY)
Dubbo Equine Hospital
- equine, cattle, sheep
- we perform most major equine surgeries at our facility (we have surgical specialist visiting regularly)
- equipped with surgery table; gaseous anaesthesia and monitoring; scope; DR x-ray equipment; ultrasound - limb, body and repro capability; shock-wave; lab equipment
