The practice is in Roma, the Maranoa Veterinary Surgery.
It’s a mid sized country town with all necessary shops and sporting facilities.
It has an outstanding social scene such as:

- 25% beef cattle – Bull testing, preg testing, prolapses, calvings and more. The employer is ACV Preg check accredited examiner so can facilitate you getting your tail tags (if not already acquired) and is able and willing to teach bull testing to ACV Bull Check standards.

Your chance at being the successful applicant will be improved if you:
- Are a self-starter who loves to improve themselves. We are big on that.
- Are reliable. That’s non-negotiable.
- Are happy to work reasonably independently but with support on the “tough ones”.
We are New Grad Friendly as long as you are prepared to “have a red hot go”. Of course you will have mentoring when you start here to ensure you become a confident vet as soon as possible (Mixed practice is the best way to rapidly develop your skills). We will NOT send you for cattle caesareans on your own until you're confident. The employer is an experienced teacher for anyone who wants to learn.
1 week paid conference leave / year and up to $4000 to spend; 4 weeks annual leave. We encourage undertaking in the equine dental course for new and recent grads (and will pay for this even though it's more the 4k)
You will have your own work ute that is purposefully set up for the job.
Additionally, we are a 482 VISA sponsor approved.
