Full-Time Veterinarian

Situated in the beautiful Camden Haven, Camvet is located in the coastal town of Laurieton. This well-established practice has been caring for animals for over 40 years, providing veterinary services to small and large animals. Our experienced team is equipped to treat cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, lizards and wildlife. We also run a rural clinic off-site for large animals including horses, cattle, goats and alpacas. A career with Camvet will see you gain experience in all facets of a mixed veterinary practice.

Our state-of-the-art Veterinary Hospital with purpose-built cat friendly facilities and fully equipped examination rooms, diagnostic machines, and pharmaceutical stores, we provide on-the-spot assistance for nearly all pet health and medical needs. We are open Mon-Fri: 8:00am-6:00pm, Sat: 8:00am-4:00pm and closed on Sundays.

This opportunity will suit a vet with experience working in a small animal or mixed veterinary clinic.

To be successful for this position, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
  • At least two years of experience working in a small animal or mixed veterinary clinic – both consultative and surgical
  • An ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
  • A positive ‘can do’ & friendly attitude
  • A desire to grow yourself and develop your career
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
